Christine Medina Vitarello ( Mira) is a contemporary fine artist and educator living in Ridgefield, Ct. with her husband and two children. After earning degrees in Fine art and Art education at the Pratt Institute and the College of New Rochelle, Mira began her work as an artist and educator. Through the use of oil paint and soft pastels, her current style is a blend of impressionism and modern contemporary representational art. Mira’s art strives to create movement and energy in the capturing of inviting color, strong composition, and the capturing of light. Mira is currently represented by Zatista Gallery and can also be found in exhibits and galleries in northeastern America, Canada, and China.
